** Basic Travel Course – consists of two injections and provides protection against diphtheria / tetanus / polio / hepatitis ‘A’ & typhoid. A second dose of hepatitis ‘A’ is required within one year
*** For travellers who have completed a pre-exposure course and who are at intermittent risk a booster dose would be advised after 10 yrs. For those at continuing risk boosters doses would be advised at 2-3 yrs intervals
^ Course only applies to the emergency accelerated 21day course for Hepatitis B. The complete course incorporates a 4th dose 12mths after the first. The 4th dose is NOT included in the course price.

* Lariam (mefloquine) prophylaxis requires further consultation to ascertain its suitability – in addition, sufficient time should be allowed prior to exposure to be able to switch to alternative treatment in the event of any adverse effects – ideally this should be 2-3 weeks NB See the ‘news’ tab for latest guidance
*Start means: the length of time before you enter the malaria zone – remember you can get bitten as soon as the doors of the aircraft are opened
**Continue for: means take for the required time after you leave the malaria zone – always read the label directions and the patient information leaflet inside the pack
