Following a consultation we are able to issue all malaria prevention medication while you wait.

While it’s never too late to get your vaccinations, 6-8 weeks before departure is preferable.

It is advised that you bring any past vaccination records you may have. You may need to contact your doctor and ask for a written vaccination record.

On the day of vaccination make sure you feel well and do not have a fever, otherwise the consultation may need to be postponed.

If in doubt, ask! If you require any information, book in for a Full Travel Consultation.

Please ensure that if you require children under 16yrs to be vaccinated you bring sufficient ID to allow you to give valid consent. This would normally comprise of passports of the child and the parent / guardian giving consent, birth certificate and if possible the child’s, childhood vaccination history ie.  “Red Book” .

Whilst we offer a no appointment walk-in service, during busy periods you may need to wait. We would always recommend making an advance booking to ensure minimum wait and a speedy service, even if it only an hour or two before.

A full travel consultation for up to two adults going to the same destination is £15.00. Should any vaccination services be provided this fee is set aside against the cost of the vaccines, either at the same visit or subsequently. Please retain your receipt for any future refund. We accept all credit / debit cards for all the services and purchases.

We are able to provide all malaria prophylactic medication from the pharmacy. You will need to complete a risk assessment form to establish whether any of the treatments are suitable. Most of these treatments are prescription-only medications however no fee is charged.

Remember no malaria prevention medication is 100% effective and you always use mosquito bite avoidance measures in addition to malaria prophylaxis medication.

If you do not get bitten you cannot get malaria!
